Police officers arrested a suspect and seized 29 kilos of alleged shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Carsadang Bago II, in Imus, Cavite, GMA 7 late night news program "Saksi" reported Friday night.
The operation was run jointly by the Philippine National Police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group and the Cavite Police.
"Itong mga illegal drugs na nahuli natin ay, sinasabi nila, parte ito ng malaking shipment," said Cavite police chief P/Dir. Eliseo Cruz. "Yun ang ating tututukan sa mga susunod na araw, na baka meron pa itong [suspek na] mga kasamahan na part ng malaking volume ng droga na naipakalat nila dito sa buong lalawigan ng Cavite."
The alleged illegal drugs, the suspect, and the suspect's pickup truck were taken to the PNP national headquarters in Camp Crame in Quezon City.
