The Facebook Page “Jolegend Slaydangal” shared this supposed “throwback” photo of a younger Jolina alongside a young Lady Gaga, known also by her real life name Stefani Germanotta.
The accompanying post claims that the “Original Multimedia Superstar” gave singing lessons and techniques to the now internationally-famous Grammy Award-winning Lady Gaga. After a year of studying and training, Jolina was able to train Lady Gaga on her path to superstardom.
Longtime fans of actress and multi-platinum recording artist Jolina Magdangal were completely surprised when this viral photo of the singer surfaced with a young Lady Gaga!
Upon sharing, the photo became a trending hit all over social media.
Many Pinoy netizens were easily fooled by this trending photo, but a few skeptical netizens saw right through the photo. Unsurprisingly, the photo and the story that came with it was fake.
Another netizen on Facebook shared the original photograph featuring Jolina with a fan. This original picture was manipulated using Photoshop which made it seem like Lady Gaga was with Jolina.
Although the picture was fake, it certainly entertained netizens who hoped it would be true. Let that be a lesson to anyone who doesn’t double check their sources.
